Pima Air & Space Museum   www.pimaair.org

The Pima Air Museum displays more than 250 military and civilian aircraft representing America's history. Flight simulators, space capsule mockups along with other aviation memorabilia and a magnificent display of the SR-71 Blackbird. Go On-Board the Presidential Douglas DC-6 used by both presidents Kennedy and Johnson. One of the largest aircraft storage areas in the world, the Air Force Maintenance and Regeneration Center (AMARC) is an additional highlight while visiting the museum.

Enjoy a scenic side trip to Bisbee Arizona, one of the Southwest's most historic mining towns. The trip will enter Bisbee through Mule Pass Tunnel. A third of a mile long, it is Arizona's longest tunnel. The town is situated in a most picturesque setting, amid the lovely green Mule Mountains. During its heyday, this was the place to stop between New Orleans and San Francisco. Legendary figures and fortunes were made and broken on the turn of a shovel or a card. Nogales, Sonora, Mexico was founded in 1880. Nogales is just 60 miles south of Tucson. A colorful piece of Mexico right out of the interior, Nogales has blocks of shops and alleys lined with booths where Mexican clothing, leatherwork, and silver jewelry are sold. No passport or visa is necessary to enter Nogales, however a passport or tourist card is necessary for further travel into Mexico.

Tubac, Arizona is a colorful artist colony nestled in the Santa Cruz Valley just north of Nogales and just off of Interstate 19. This village has over 60 unique shops offering fine arts and craft items and unusual gifts many produced on site.

Grab your boots and your cowboy hat and come out west to the famous movie location, "Old Tucson Studios". Created originally for the 1939 Columbia Pictures movie "Arizona", Old Tucson Studios has since been the backdrop for hundreds of major motion pictures, television shows and commercials.
In this recreated 1860 town you'll relive the danger and excitement of the Old West as stunt- men battle it out in the streets portraying those vengeful, ruthless characters of yesteryear. Take a ride on a stagecoach, or train catch a musical review or watch a rodeo and if your lucky you may even find a camera crew on the sound stage shooting a new movie, or a star awaiting his/her cue.

Tombstone, "The Town Too Tough To Die" is where Ed Schieffelin went prospecting in 1878 for silver, warned that all he would find in this land of Apaches was his tombstone. Instead he found one of the richest silver strikes in the country.
Tombstone is no false-front made up Western town. This is the real thing. Once it based a population of about 10,000 wild and respectable souls. One of Arizona's most famous western towns, Tombstone was immortalized by the infamous gunfight at the OK Corral, and dedicated in 1962 as a Registered National Historic Landmark. Wyatt Earp, Doc Holiday, Crystal Palace, Bird Cage Theater and Boot Hill cemetery are just some of the names associated with this historic town.
