7 Resorts, 5 Restaurants Rate 4 Diamonds

AAA Arizona has given Four Diamond status to seven Tucson-area resorts and four restaurants.

Joining the list this year is The Golf Villas at Oro Valley. Other lodging places receiving the rank­ing and the number of years on the list are: Arizona Inn, two; Omni Tucson National Golf Re­sort and Spa, three; The Lodge at Ventana Canyon, four; Loews Ventana Canyon Resort, 15; Sheraton El Conquistador, 18; Westward Look Resort, 18.

Familiar names from Tucson are on the restaurant award list:

The Gold Room at Westward Look Resort, six years; The Ventana Room at Loews Ventana Canyon Resort, seven; Janos, eight; Anthony’s in the Catalinas, 10.
